Graphic Design from Brook Johnson

My name is Brook Johnson (sometimes known as Elena), and Live Breathe Design is my commercial identity. I am a British graphic designer based in Melbourne.

I have worked with a variety of blue-chip clients, concentrating on brand development, pitches and BTL communications. My past clients have included BMI, Ericsson and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

Lately my clients have been not-for-profit organisations and charities. These include the Government of Bahrain, Help the Aged (now Age UK), Planning Aid, Cambridge University, and most recently the Victorian Government.

I have a particular interest in the global treatment of women, which can be seen in my personal work, and also in the work I did in the Middle East, where I challenged the representation of women in the corporate media. I am also the graphic designer for The Georges Malaika Foundation, which empowers girls in the Democratic Republic of Congo through education. The charity is in the process of building a school in Kalebuka. Design work includes funding proposals, fundraiser invitations, and publicity materials, and a new website to be launched later this year.
